Every specialty pathway at Mew Medical is designed around clinical suitability, patient understanding and careful follow-up. The emphasis is on measured recommendations, realistic expectations and a treatment plan that feels bespoke rather than transactional.

IV infusions can form part of a personalised wellness plan when they are selected appropriately. Our approach begins with medical screening rather than a menu-led sale, so treatment is matched to history, goals and suitability.
We review medication, relevant medical conditions, allergies and any reason treatment should be delayed or avoided. Where symptoms suggest a need for further investigation, we may recommend blood testing or GP review before proceeding.
Your appointment includes a consultation, consent, preparation of the infusion and monitored administration. The infusion is delivered in a comfortable room with staff available throughout.
The aim is to keep the experience calm and medically appropriate, with a clear explanation of what is being administered and what to expect afterwards.

Most patients return to normal activity afterwards, but aftercare depends on the infusion type and individual context. We provide guidance on hydration, symptoms to monitor and when to seek advice.
For patients using IV therapy as part of a wider health plan, we can combine treatment with blood testing, nutrition review or GP follow-up.
This page is for general education and does not replace an individual consultation. Suitability and treatment plans are confirmed after a doctor-led assessment.
